Executives of HyCarb, Inc., Participate in the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit 2014

October 17, 2014

Ms. Cottrell, HyCarb, Inc., CEO, and Mr. Heath, HyCarb, Inc., President, attended the California Hydrogen Business Council’s, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit 2014, Sacramento, California. California is leading the transition to zero-emission vehicles through public policy and the installation of 100 hydrogen refueling stations by the year 2020. Hydrogen is a zero-emission fuel, because the only byproduct of using hydrogen in fuel cell electric vehicles is water (H2O). Since it only takes 3 to 5 minutes to fill a fuel cell electric vehicle, versus 30 minutes to several hours for plug-in electric vehicles, industry is favoring a hydrogen fuel scenario. HyCarb is positioned to provide technologies to both the fuel cell electric vehicles, and battery electric vehicles with our advance carbon technologies. At the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit 2014, Ms. Cottrell and Mr. Heath met with policy makers, industry leaders, and potential funding sources for developing the next-generation of fuel cells, batteries, and supercapacitors.

“The California Hydrogen Business Council is a non-profit organization comprised of organizations and individuals involved in the business of hydrogen. Members include: fuel cell manufacturers and suppliers; manufacturers and distributors of hydrogen generation, compression and storage technologies; manufacturers and suppliers of hydrogen internal combustion engines; engineers and service providers; municipal, state and federal agencies.”
